About me

Hello. My name is Katelyn Kerr.

I am currently in the 8th grade at HPMS. I am in advanced math and my electives include, honors band, spanish, and intro to computer science. I have always loved to read. Some times I also write but I don't like ELA. My favorite classes are math, science, spanish, intro to computer science, and band, in that order. I like listening to music, ariel silks, swimming, playing the flute, coding, and learning languages, like spanish, morse code, and python.

I love solving puzzles. I enjoy the challenge and the satisfaction of solving them. Some puzzles I prefer to do on my own, but I can work well with others and solve them as a group.

The reason I love math is becuase it is straightforward. There is always one answer. It makes sense, though it is not always been easy it has been my favorite subject since I graduated elementary school. An example I use to explain my love for math over ELA is, 1+1 is always 2. But there are trillions of different simple sentences.

I have a large extended family but I am an only child. My mom is the oldest of three and my dad is a middle child, also of three.
